Quince Preserve is made solely from fruit grown on the Tiptree farm. Quince is a most unusual fruit, about the size and shape of a large misshapen pear with yellow fluffy skin. When cooked with sugar, the quince takes on a character all of its own, to create this delightful conserve.
Tiptree has been growing fruit & making preserves since 1885 in Essex County, England. We grow a wide range of traditional fruits on the farm right next to our factory, producing some of the highest quality preserves & marmalades the world has tasted.
We use traditional techniques including cooking the fruit in small batches using copper pans to make the highest consistent quality – each batch produces only 150 jars of product.
A most unusual fruit, about the size and shape of a large mis-shapen pear with yellow fluffy skin, the quince has an astringent taste that might put anyone off from eating it raw.

Ideal for use as a condiment.
It is then pumped into our fruit press to release maximum flavour.
